Prayer Request

Marie's right hand has progressively gotten worse since she's been here. It started the day we flew out so we believed it was just stress. She has no strength in that hand. But it has been getting worse since starting treatment so maybe it's due to the swelling.

Her left neck mucles are very painful. I think she pulled something toting Buddy around. Buddy gains weight everyday (it's up to 6 1/2 lbs) and she has to carry it all day.

We're going out shopping for a backpack for her. Pray that this will help.

Last week a friend of mine that is a huge fan of the Gaithers Gospel shows told me that she read in one of the Gaither newsletters that Mark Lowery (composer of Mary Did You Know and a regular on the program and Homecoming Tour) was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. In announcing this in the newsletter, he asked all his fans not to just pray to God that he be healed, but to pray that God's will be done. He said he didn't want to miss out on all the blessings God was going to give him through the challenges of his disease. I pray in full confidence that if it be His will, He will bless you with strength, courage, comfort, peace and restored health. Your willingness to take the time to share the details of your experience with those that love you has already been a blessing to Carol and me, and I am sure to all the others reading this BLOG site. We continue to pray for you and your family.

Marie and Al

You are not alone. You may be sitting in a hotel room with these things happening to you that you would rather not happen, so maybe at times you both feel alone. You are not alone. God is with you, your whole family is with you and there is a great outpouring of prayer and concern from people you and your family have come have come in contact with.

We received cards from Dorothy Wack, one of mom’s High School friends and also Cynthia and Terry, Bill daughter.

Mom just learned at three that Stefan has a big game at five. Sounds like the tournament. So life goes on.

We received a letter today from Christine Andreasen Lanzing inviting people to Orlando April 28-May 4 to help celebrate Dick and Eleanore’s 80th birthday. People seem to be getting older.

We go a note from Suzanne who said she ran a 3K race on Saturday and for the first time she came in under 30 minutes. That’s about 9 ½ minutes a mile. She was happy about that. I ran five miles on Saturday and today very, very slowly – about 15 ½ minutes a mile. I keep slowing down. I wonder why.

Well, it’s a little after five your time. I hope you are able to eat and enjoy a good meal tonight.

I thinking of you both and praying for you.
